can you tell me your opinion about riogrande pickups? i was thinking of placing a riogrande crunch box (bridge) and a riogrande fatbastard(neck) in my js...with distortion they sound really brutal

there was an interview with Dave Grohl recently where he said he used "texas barbeque" pickups by rio grande. while sounding delicious, it gave no indication of how they sound.

Edit:After looking at the reviews they seem to be fairly highly regarded, some rate them above SD's.Im thinking of getting one or some for my custom Mustang being built by Cross atm.

If you talking about the pickups the are excelente, same quality of seymour duncans, emg and others famous. This pickups are rolled the hand. But how you find this pups in your country??? Their are brazilians pickups, their are hand made here.

rio grandes are cool, im gonna get two of those surfmasters for the neck and bridge of my strat and a dirty harry jr. for the middle once i get some money
