Re mods: I'd change the bucker......get some nice pickups from GFS and a shielding kit.
In fact, If I would swap out ALL the electronics. But keep the originals in a box somewhere.
Tune o matics will give you serious problems with radius and they're a bitch to fit. I'd never want a standard tuneomatic, only the roller one.
