My Jag-stang has a tone I really like but my custom does as well. A lot of times I prefer the Jag-stang for recording stuff and the custom for band practices (haven't had an electric gig in ages so I can't say I use for gigs but I plan on using it at gigs). The custom is a bit beefy for me sometimes though.

the be-all, end-all for me doesn't exist yet, that'll probably be one i design myself... out of my guitars, its gotta be my egmond, since it's got the most distinctive sound i've ever heard from any guitar (matt bellamy's sound might be more distinctive, but thats from stompboxes)

I have 3 guitars and I love each one for different reasons, but I suspect when it gets home it will be my Jagmaster.

i know its technically a knock off and a very cheap one at that, but i really love my SX SST57.

it is probably the closest guitar to an actual stratocaster.

but it is hard to choose between that and my explorer 😀

This is as close as it gets to my number 1 and 2

my Gibson Jimmy Page Les Paul "Jackie" is my number 1 just because its so comfortable in my hands and it just has that special something I cant define when I play it.

Second is probably my Fender Jaguar im holding it right now 😁 its just a solid no nonsense rocking machine that will always be ready to take what I'm playing which I love.

I would say either my Burg. mist Jaguar or any of my Jazzmasters.

My Jag-Stang for sure. Whenever I show up and it seems to not be there, my bandmates ask where she is. Whenever we're recording and everything else can't cut it, the Jag-Stang does. Been my main axe since 2000.

The Guitar Now - 2009

My second (very close) runner up is the Jaguar, the one time the Jag-Stang went down live, the Jaguar kicked the concert for the rest of the night. Another one I can jump right on and feel right at home.
