i think you'll find that's a different buzz from grounding for regular interference. it's 60 cycle hum. and it's probably caused by the monitor. try sitting next to the pc, notice the buzz, then switch the monitor off, and see what happens. well, it's the case with a CRT monitor anyway. dunno about flatscreen...
also, if you have a reverse wound/reverse poles neck pickup, then if you switch both pups on at once, that cancels the hum, like a humbucker. japanese jaguars don't have the rw/rp neck pup though
