My mom speaks Dutch fluently, better than her older brothers who were actually BORN in the Netherlands, even. She has a speech impediment (in Dutch, that is) in that she cannot roll her "r"s. She gets picked on without mercy for this by me, and I can't even speak Dutch.
Which brings me nicely to my next point:
