I'll buy each part and put it all together. I'll buy it from Warmoth because I want to save some money on freigth. I'll also buy stainless steel frets (model 6105).

How much are resistors and caps? I have a huge set of decent caps and resistors. No orange drops, but ceramic disc and electrolytic caps and standard carbon film resistors.

I dunno exactly. I'll have to check on warmoth or guitarpartsresource.

The big problem I have is the pickguard replacement. I think I'll have to buy the material and ask to my luthier craft one.

pickguardheaven can make you custom pickguards, and they have worldwide shipping, and it could be cheaper than if its done by your luthier, but you should go compare.

I just had the same buzz problem with my 2016 Jag Classic Player. The problem is the screws that adjust the intonation rattle. Mine did it on the 1st 2nd and 3rd string. What I had to do was get the springs out a a clicker pen and install them around the screws to put pressure on it. Great big pain in the butt but it worked.

Hi Mike, I just got a 2016 Jag Classic Player Special HH and the bridge intonation screws are buzzing big time. I'd like to pick your brain if you don't mind on your spring fix. I got some springs but it order to put the spring over the screw behind the saddle, the screws need to be removed a bit which broke the little retaining C clamp. Now the spring just pushes the screw out which defeats the purpose. If you can explain how you managed to get this to work I'd appreciate it.
