Several of us purchased JS HHs from the Fender Friday deal a couple of weeks ago. One guy has a "Crafted in Japan" decal on the neck heel and the rest of us have "Made in Japan" decals. Does anyone know when Fender Japan decided to switch back? The serial number finder here is confused and can't find the serial numbers to date.
It is interesting to note that the CIJ also has a much darker RW fretboard, almost ebony colored. I seem to remember that Fender switched the specs on this model to replace the Atomic Humbucker with the current MIJ Dragsters.
Does anyone here know for sure, even though it's not a "real" Jaguar?
