gig bag for jazzmaster

hi people i am very new to this site and i am about to get the first jazzmaster in my life

im getting the classic player and i wonder how reliable the gig bag is

please let me know what gig bags do you use for your jazzmaster and i am really digging the levy's cm18 but im not sure if it will fit the jazzmaster

i used a fender gigbag for my jagmaster but it broke dont use the fender ones they are rubish. just invest in a good hardcase they are much better. worth the extra $$.

When i got mine, one of the zippers broke off just a few days after i got it.

And it closes difficult to. 🙄

im getting a hardcase but i want to have a gig bag too

could somebody please tell me the the lenght of a jazzmaster from end-pin to the tip of the headstock and the distance from the tip of the larger horn to the farthest-away part of the butt?

i could do this myself but I am from Taiwan and the guitar is yet to be sent from the states and i hope to get the gig bag shipping together so could anyone do this favor for me i'll be very thankful

I use a standard Ritter one for my Jaguar, its a snug fit but a solid bag - its the 'classic' gigbag i think. I don't think the extra scale length should give you any trouble with a jazzy but if you want to be extra sure buy their bass one.

The fit in a normal gigbag was so snug, I was afraid my jaguar was gonna rip the zipper, and seeing as a jazzmaster is fullscale, i think you'd have the same problem. I fixed it by using a bass gigbag. It's a bit roomy, but does the job.

Don't Risk it, just invest in a hard shell case
