WillemMustang I wanna buy a Fuzz pedal, to get a sound like Mudhoney or Fu Manchu. But i don't know exactly which pedal is good enough.Till now i found the Big Muff and the Fuzzface also the Univox Super-Fuzz but i thinkthey are not making them anymore.Does anyone knows a good pedal to get a sound like mudhoney or fu manchu?
Cymastar Biff Muff, that works...The Boss FZ-5 is pretty good too.Just like around. Check thrift stores. Any distortion pedal from the 60s-70s should do the trick...
jacksonjackass Flower power ftwYou have to build it though 😉But srsly, if you do get a big muff (talking about the russian really) you may want to mod it to fuzz some moreYou also may consider this:Video courtesy of our very own Fran the Man 😎(I sent your pedal on wednseday BTW 😉 )

StevieK foxyloxy said: http://deviever.com/ nuff said 😁Yeah I listened to all those demos, pretty cool stuff, but nothing close to a fuzz face or warm overdrive in my opinion (except maybe the dark boost). Everything is silicon based and has a harsher sound then I like from fuzzes. But definitely some of those would be cool for crazy sound effects.
WillemMustang I've got a deal with a guy, he's gonna make a super-fuzz pedal.I heard from other people that he's really good at it.It will cost me 80 euro, not very expensive. He's also gonna make a LED on it, and if i want, also a brand.
StevieK LEDs are not necessary on fuzz pedals and drain their batteries more quickly, and you'll want to use batteries on fuzz pedals. And what do you mean by make you a brand? That's only a good price if he's using quality components, otherwise that's way over-priced for what will probably be the equivalent of a DIY fuzz kit, which you could assemble on your own.Is he going to use germanium or silicon transistors?
WillemMustang i don't know what he's gonna use. By brand i mean that he can make something on the pedal , like my name or something.
