Major update, about $300 has been put down on the guitar's assembly today...what I all have coming in....

I decided to go with the Non-Branded trem for now, to see what it's like. I never use the Trem Lock button anyway since it seems most of my Fender stuff is impervious to breaking strings for some crazy reason. Same old rocker bridge as well, will do the tight spring/short Low E screw mod to this one as well (unless it does not need it). The tailpiece does come with the Vibrato Bar so this thing will be whammying including during the "testbed" stage where I get all the bugs out of it before the real neck and tuners come in (and get finished/decaled).
Went with the ACME Wiring kit to avoid having to track down all the proper Jazzmaster components. I like that it uses large pots on the lead circuit, as I prefer those as they are durable for volume swells and so on (which I will be doing a LOT with this guitar due to the Jazzmaster's convenient knob placement). Pretty much bone stock Jazzmaster wiring.
I intend to be using my Stratocaster's neck on this guitar for about a week or two while I await the new neck coming in to do some test runs, fix any electronic bugs and/or sheilding issues. Basically make the guitar rock solid before I put it together in final form (plus I'll be putting a decal on the neck among other things).
After this project, when I have time to it, I might be rebuilding a 70's Musicmaster from Tommy's if it sticks around long enough. He has a body and neck laying around, and it looks like it would be a cool project. I just looked at that today and saw MAJOR potential.
