Never tried one in person, but I have tried the Attack Sustain which is a similar concept. They both do normal compression, heavy compression, clean boost, violin like sustain, and can squash your attack so much that it sounds like a reverse delay. So if you just needed some practical compression it would be great, or if you wanted some trippy infinite sustain going on it would do the job nicely.
