So I'll be building a cab

Its for by bogner alchemist head which I'll be getting soon. I'll use a celestion seventy 80 and still not decided on coverings and materials. Closed back - 12" deep, 26" wide and 18" tall. I'll probably use 1/2" plywood for the whole thing to make it as tough as hell.

Not sure wether to do porting or anything...

Anyway, loads of things to be researched and stuff..... Of course I won't do anything until My JS project is finished

i dont really want to be a downer, but... why?

you dont play gigs yet, and even if you did the bogner would be more than enough to blow anyone out of the water.

I probably won't be using all the fancy hardware crap, just a box with a speaker and whatever else is needed

hang on a second . . .your getting the combo? you don't need a cab?

on the other hand i heard a clip on youtube . .someone was playing a fender champ 600 through a cab and sounded sweet, and the champ stock speaker is poo so i'm going to build a cab .. shouldn't be too hard and will be something to do. . .

Cabs are really basic things, not much in them at all.

The rest is wood, 2 x handles and a front grill.

There are some cheap options around now, if you fancied modifying one putting a Celestion in it. It would probably work out cheaper.
