So for a couple of months I've been dead set on getting a Vox Night Train I'd seen demos of them and they are amazing. However, I recently went to Guitar Center to try one out in person but they were sold out... which really sucked. But I decided to try out some other stuff since I was there anyways. After playing for a while I noticed a Vox AC15cc1 and couldn't help but plug into it (being the Vox junkie that I am), and the tone was absolutely beatiful; I literally just fell in love the amazing tone. Now I'm torn between the two on the one hand the Night Train is much more portable (portability is the main reason I'm wanting a new amp, and the ac15 weighs almost 50 lbs) and is also $100 cheaper, however it's been a couple of weeks since my encounter with the ac15 and I still can't get that tone out of my head. This creates the problem do I go with the amp that's easier to lug around or the clean tone of my dreams (I'm planning on using my fuzzface with either one)? Right now I'm leaning towards the ac15, but I'm curious what you guys' opinions are.
