5 watts? 15 watts? 30 watts?
had huge argument with my dad last night cos i want a jcm800 or orange or something similar so when me and my friend find a drummer we can start gigging, and due to the fact im fed up with my champ. . .
my dad says it will be too loud, and i get what he's saying, im really not allowed to play that loud at all. . like my champ at 12;00 is loud enough, if not turned down a little,
so what do u think is the highest amount of wattage or whatever i should get?
i want it mainly for cleanssssss so i dont want it breaking up in a gigging situation.
leaning towards a marshall jcm, orange or some sort of fender. any suggestions? this is going to be for post-rock, shoegaze etc.
i played a blues jnr (15 watts) at guitar centre when i was across the pond in the states, but my dad didnt seem to think it was too loud. . but that would break up in a giging situation wldnt it?
i have a friend who has a fender blues deluxe (40 watts) and he uses it at home, dont see how his parents or neighbours dont kill him, the lucky fag.. . .
