I wasn't saying sparkle in general would be bad on a tele, I was simply stating that purple sparkle would be bad. I'm gonna be getting a tele kit off of guitarfetish soon and I was actually planning on painting it red sparkle.

It was supposed to be more intense than CAR, but I'm putting it off to get an FX loop pedal that will turn my fuzzface on and turn the tremolo and reverb on my AC15 off in one stomp (and vice-versa for clean tones).

1. 2003 CIJ Ocean Turq. metallic

2. 2007 CIJ J. Mascis. bought used, had aftermarket guard and SD Antiquity 2 neck pickup, SD Quarter Pound bridge pickup.

3. 1986 MIJ 'E6' serial number, sunburst. -this is my baby, the best playing/sounding Jazzmaster i have ever played. Not sure what kind of wood its made out of, but compared to the other two, its HEAVY.

trem is a dream, stays in tune.

neck is gorgeous

everything is gorgeous.

only thing which confuses me is that trem-lock button.. which from what i see doesnt do anything >.<

I've owned three Jazzmasters.

These are the two I no longer own, a CAR Japanese reissue and a Sunburst AVRI.

This is the partsmaster I just acquired. It's a custom body built by robert(og) with a Highway 1 Strat neck and Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounders(I think). This one is getting overhauled soon. It's getting a new neck and a new pickguard along with a rhythm circuit.

Ah yes. i believe that used to belong to Aen over at shortscale.

If he used the pickups that i traded to him, one should be a SD Quater pound, and a AVRI or Antiqity? i cant remember which. May not even be the same pickups.

Yeah. it used to be Aen's. He traded it to an offsetguitars member and I got it from him. It now has AVRI tort:

Cheers. I just traded my 73 Guild S100 for an AVRI Jazzmaster in black, so I have two JMs again. I immediately replaced the Strat style knobs with soms Bronco knobs I had around.

Awesome! I love black/tort, easily one of the best combo's.
