New Neck Day.....actually, 2 necks Arrived...which is weird, I could swear I ordered only one..but if not, hey, maybe I should build another Jazzmaster......I do have one more Aftermarket logo. The neck seems to be a 70's profile (think 70's Strat) with jumbo fretwire. This neck is VERY fast and fluid as well.
Other changes included jacking up the pickups higher, raising the action, and making various other action changes. Apparently Tommy's makes some strong as heck necks too because the truss-rod only needs 1/8th of a turn into any sort of resistance to be right, definitely a guitar that could handle a set of 014's with no problem.
The sound changed a hair too, seems a tad more midrangey with a sharper attack, sounds very 70's Van-Halen-like on some settings with the volume backed off.
