could somebody please give me the measurement from the tailpiece to the bridge on a les paul?

I'm wondering if it's possible to put a stetsbar (stetsbar.com) on my jag hh, which has a diferent spacing than a les paul, but it intonates sharp, so it may work anyway. thanks!

edit: i'm gonna measure from the tailpiece to the nut and hope that the gib measurement - that = about 24".

im a bit tipsy so took me ages to work out what you wanted to do.. the ruler says its 10cm by 2cm

Just walk in the shop with platform shoes and a really small dog and they'll think you're 18

people have parents, generally parents of teenagers are older than 18, therefore they can buy alchohol, alchohol not locked up is easy to get to

but i mean, from screw to the edge of TOM, or from inner studs, etc.

and it's pretty easy to get alcohol... if getting drunk appealed to me at all, i could be wasted right now.

yeah in england alcohol is pretty much everywhere. . dont understand americas weird view on alcohol.

from the outside end to the outside end. . not from an inner not or anything.

yeah in america you cant even touch alcohol until ur 21. . but the rules in england are weirddd and i dont understand them nor do i care.

hey man be careful with that stetsbar because if you use heavy strings like 11's you have to be careful when you whammy, the bar doesn't come back up and it leaves you out of tune due to the tension of the strings. Sounds wierd but I had this problem with my tele and there aren't any adjustments to fix this problem.

ouch... it may be more economical to add a wilkinson style knife-trem anyway... that is troubling though. how did you resolve the issue?

Well I still haven't resolved the issue. I guess you could use smaller strings but thinking of using like 9's or 10's is sickning to me. I can't believe they don't warn people of this problem. I guess you should consider getting that knife trem you were talking about it looks harder to install but, it's probably worth it in the long run.
