so i was was just watching a Melvins video on youtube. so i was thinking about putting the pickup from a 70's LP custom in the bridge of my jagmaster. as well as the Jazzy pup i am putting in the neck. so i was wondering will this work? i cant really see why it would not, but i dont know much about it (or anything for that matter).

also what PU's did they use in 70's LP customs?

Yes it would. Just make sure you get the right polarity or you could end up phasing

make sure that you get the hot and ground right. Lots of different wiring colour codes and stuff

i want the gold LP pup cos i was at mates party, he took me out to his studio and said "take a look at this" he opens up the case. there is a 70's gibson custom goldhard ware 3 gold pickups and gold Bigsby trem. so now i need one of them pups ;D

I don't know, but those crunchy pats are FANTASTIC
