Good pup for my stang

I think this goes here and and not the Mustang section whatever its pickup related and mustang related! Sooo I want to put a new bridge pickup in my Mustang shown here.

I want a pickup thats really powerful and abrasive a real aggressive pickup I have a JB Jr in my vintage stang but I'm not sure if its totally what I'm looking for I want something a bit more rough then Jb Jr. seems a more solid rounded out pickup.

What do you guys think High output and aggressive.

A DiMarzio DP218 super distortion S in the bridge and a SD SJAG2 in the neck.

The DP218 is single coil size so no routing needed. Its 14k (less than a JB by about 1-2k)but gutsy as hell.

I have this pup in my 1966 mustang,I love it.

Or if you don't mind routing, the DiMarzio DP152 which is 25k and is a very high output pup.I was thinking of putting this in my Jaguar as I have already routed it for humbuckers years ago.

The feedback and sustaining droning notes on this pup would be sick!

Thanks for the comment, I'm not sure if I'm wild about routing just because sometimes I don't like the look 😆 But I'm really looking into the DP218 or even a Duncan Hot Stacks, I want alot of power and aggression like a regular mustang pickup on steroids or something

A seymour duncan JB JR. It sounds great and plus you can fit it into the original guard.

A good point about the DP218 is it looks almost exactly like a stock mustang cover, except it has two rails on it. I don't like SD single coil size humbuckers cause the two thin coils and the six pole pieces side by side look horrible IMO. They sound great, just look ####ty.

The DP218 is great anyways. It comes in numerous colors too.
