Looking to into getting a 4x12 Marshall Cab to go with my 2x12 Marshall JCM 900 Hi Gain Dual Reverb 50 Watt tubed amp. Not really sure what wattage or model to go with. Budget is about $250 - $500. I'd like new stuff. I'm not to thrilled about used speakers just cause I'd hate to buy something that's been abused. But hey, with a $500 budget you can't be to picky so it may have to be used.
My current combo amp speakers are great. Great highs and mids. I used to use a 4x12 Eminence cab. Those speakers had great bass, so it took over where my combo left off. But I left that cab at my mom's house, and my little brother decided they sounded better in the back of his car. So I've got a cab but no speakers. The cost of new speakers, is practically as much as a whole new cab. I dunno what to do.
I don't play in a band. But I love playing 6x12... I know overkill. But I miss my old setup. So point me in the right direction guys.
