j torres did not make that neck,
he is just someone that did quility control.
i want to say that fender nixed the handmade neck thing in 56, after that it was all done duplicator style and then sanded.
once cbs took over and brought in the big bux they introduced the early cnc styled machines.
notice i said cnc STYLED they weren't the digital machines we have today, but rather the grandfathers of them.
