Same. A few months ago, I had a dude in a pawn shop selling a Squier Bullet (one of the plywood ones). He was asking $290. It was in HORRIBLE condition. 'Made by Fender', he assured me.
I pointed out that I could walk 30 seconds down the road an buy a brand new, BETTER Bullet for $180. I was given a snooty "if you don't want it, don't buy it".
If Mr Kurdt is telling the truth, would you please scan these pawn shops, put together some prices, and make a post about it, because I would glady wire you a couple hundred bucks if I could get a 63 tele that I could then sell for 10 times that amount.
