just buy a fender strat most common, white is super easy to find.i have seen them for $500AUS second hand. so i am sure you could pick one up for 350-400 in the states.
dont worry "Cobain" you will get over just only wanting "kurdt" guitars. i went trough the same thing with custom Omar Rodriguez-Lopez. once you realize that you Never going to really sound like him and/or stop trying to cos you realize that its pointless.
