Don't try to fit in, if you do, you look like a poser and wannabe, I've found myself giving less of a #### about who I talk to, and guess what? I am actually a respectable person in my community, which is full of White trash hicks, Welfare mothers, and spoiled rich kids. I don't hate anyone of them, I hate what they do although, but I live life by the rule of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", and I enforce it sometimes.
And by the way, if you want a cheap Olympic White strat to modify, I suggest the Squier Bullet Strat. It's got routs that could fit a non angled humbucker. And if you've got the In Utero Album, the booklet contains the Knob Settings for your amp, Bass at Two'o'clock, and Treble at 5.
