Schecter still makes them, so you should be able to find them on Ebay and Amazon, but you can get them brand new from other sources like The Mad Ape or Musicians Friend. They were reportedly designed with input from Perry Bamonte and Robert Smith of The Cure.
I love mine. You can get a good variety of tones with it and it has enough low end to function as a bass, yet it can be played much like a guitar. Sounds quite lovely playing arpeggios through chorus and delay effects. I like to think of it as the perfect bass for guitarists who wish basses were more like guitars.
