Fender BLue Flower strat, is it good?

Hi,

Is it good? or should i get a Epi LP standard?

I'd go for the Stratocaster, personally. Not only will it be better quality than the Epiphone, it'll be more interesting sound wise and also to look at ;] Either guitar is good, but I'd say the Strat wins on versatility and, for me, Les Pauls don't do anything.

I'm not particularly fond of strats, but much prefer them to lp's nowadays. Were you thinking of getting that particular flower strat? Or one of the newer Japanese ones? Because $1199 is a good chunk of money and your options for that much are far greater than flower strat or epi les paul 😀

or wire the epiphone's pickups to be out of phase when they're both on.

I dig the flower strat, the other guitarist in Jeff Buckley's band had a pink flower telecaster, looked awesome.

Tis up to you, depends, do you prefer bright single-coily sound or thick humbuckery sound?

hmm, it's hard tho. I'm selling my PSP + a ####load of extra's. I said like "i want to sell my psp as fast as possible so i can buy a new guitar"

At that time i was saving for a Epi LP. Bu then some1 offered his Fender Blue flower strat +wha wha pedal + a Marshal Tube amp (wich looked really really old on the pic the guy send me)

So its hard to choose, but i think i'm going to get the Fender. 😁

Judging by how the guy did anwser my questions about the guitar and amp over the phone i'd say he got his gear from his grandpa or something and doesnt know #### about guitars. Well anyways, 1 PSP gigpack + Fable TLC and 2 Joysticks for all that, omg, i made some real profit here 😁

Ok, lol, here it goes.

I first thought this would be a 600 bucks Fender, But then i checked for the serial (F023456) (http://www.fender.com/support/dating/ja ... dating.php) and found out that ths fender is actually the 1200 bucks one from 1986-87, ROTFL! No mistaking, it looks really old and the bridge has almost turned into a fossil, lol.And the Knobs and pickups have like a yellow creamy collor because they are so old, i LOVE IT! This guitar has some very small dings and scratches, but i dont really care ;D

Guitar playes like a dream, the touch of a feather would even change the tone. I'm a humbucker guy(or used to be now, lol), BUT i dont get why people that are used to humbuckers complain when they play a strat....i'm in LOVE with the sound!!! 😆

What i got from the guy is This kickass fender + A Jim Dunlop USA Crybaby Fuzz Wah(wich looks old as hell) + Haneb or Haner cant rly read because the font is really ####ed up and hard to read what it says, so lets say a Haneb Phaser Tone 2 + A Hot Watt amplifier that works on batteries so i can plug my guitar and play with headphones + some cable and strap and a ####ed up Fender USA case.

Sigh, i feel sorry for the dude, he didnt know jack about the treasure he had, couldve bought at least 5 psp's instead of 1, lol.

Exactly what I was going to say, lol, that's the font that Ibanez use on their Non-#### Rock stuff.

Awesome man, really glad you like it, I used to hate strats but they've totally grown on me loads over the past year or so, they're not the most popular guitar design and such an icon for no reason!

Seriously congratulations though, it's a lovely looking guitar, damn glad you're happy with it!

One question, something I've always wanted to know about those guitars (as I've never seen one in the flesh, only in pictures), is it a transparent p/g with a burst in it or is it actually printed like the guitar?
