Mustang/Jag-stang concept Photoshop

Heres a picture i edited of a Jag-stang and a mustang. I like both mustangs horns with the jag-stang offset. I edited it in photoshop. Tell me what you think.

Yeah, I see that now...I'd thought the butt looked more radical than a Mustang. I'm still learning the differences among the offsets, and the Jag-stang-Mustang comparison is gettin clearer. Thanks!

I agree, the Mustang's horns are more graceful. I prefer the Mustang waist as well, partly for the same reason I prefer the Jag-stang butt...it harmonizes with the Mustang horns, waist, and angle of the pickups.

I think you're gonna have to make ur own dude. Although this isn't an entirely bad thing, if you do it yourself it'll be more personal and cheaper. Also, you can even get authentic Fender paint from http://www.reranch.com, you can get headstock decals and fake serial numbers from http://www.81x.com/oscarmcvittie/decals/, and you can get a mustang trem from http://www.warmoth.com, you can get a jag-stang pickguard from http://www.wdmusic.com, you can get a shortscale neck at http://www.allparts.com/Replacement-Neck-for-Jaguar-p/jgro.htm, you can get cheap but good pickups and tuners and stuff at http://www.guitarfetish.com, you can get body blanks at http://www.stewmac.com or http://www.allparts.com, and you can prolly even find a Fender neckplate on ebay. By taking advantage of all of these sites you can make your own that will look 100% Fender made. Hope this helps.

very nice work.

the waste needs to be trimmed just a bit more on top and it needs a jaguar tremolo ImO.

but must say it looks better than a jagstang. 😡

You might consider keeping that Mustang waist and trimming a bit off the lower bout. That might look a bit more sleek and graceful. Unless you prefer the eccentric line of that bout. It's a cool hybrid you're makin so do it your way and keep us posted.

you mean like the Mu-Uar? that concepts been floating around on this site forever, nobody's ever actually built one though...

The muar looks pretty gay. Its took square like to the bottom and stuff. The one that was built that looks similar looks even worst lol.

YOU DO NOT DISS ON THE MU-UAR! GOT IT?!?!?!

Although I agree with you that the real life one does look pretty crappy, then again that's not actually a Mu-Uar it's just a guitar that's similar.
