it means sonic blue looks like that in the photos but in reality is a little more green. while this is due to lighting, sonic blue guitars appear surf green in the shop, bedroom, and outside on a sunny day for me. whereas that colour that we think of sonic blue as from looking at photos is daphne/dakota blue's true hue up close.
so to sum up, it looks like what sonic blue looks like in photos.
