I have been having some dirty pot noise, and I have to crank the volume to 11 to get any sound out of the guitar. Also, any sound to come out is typically preceded by a crackle. I brought the guitar to a friend at the guitar shop, but he told me that it uses mini-pots, which are cheap garbage that he doesn't have. That brings me to two questions: Should I replace the pots with the same pots, or is there a superior option?
What do you think I should do and why?
