I have a couple wires by the volume and tone knobs that are broke. I have found wiring diagrams but can't make sense of them.

Does anyone have a picture of the wiring of the volume and tone knobs. I think this would be easier.

Go to a tinypic.com or something and then upload the pictures. Then copy the code from the 4th box and paste it in like this

Maybe I can make it easier. There are three wires that go to the the volume and tone knobs. I know where the two black ones go, but where does the white one go. I am guessing the tone. Top or one of the prongs?

There is also a white wire that goes from the volume to the tone. Where is it soldered on the tone? Top? Prong?

Okay, the black one goes to the backs of either of the pots, the same goes for the one coming from the bridge.

The white one goes to the outside terminal (the one that hasn't been bent back onto the pot) of the volume pot.

I don't know what a pot is but where does the white wire coming in go?

Top of the resistor or one of the prongs?
