My lead guitarist is curently upgrading his AS Strat with Duncan rails. Vintage for the neck, Cool for the middle, and Hot for the bridge. However, for the Cool Rail in the middle we were wondering should he put the Cool Neck Pup or the Cool Bridge Pup. We play Post Punk mostly so we seek a fairly aggressive tone so I was thinking the Cool Bridge Pup for the middle postion. However, I was concerned about it would not sound good in the middle and/or work well with the other pups... So that makes me think the Cool Neck Pup would be better? This has led me to ask you guys... So what should it be? I appreciate the help.
