Were to buy the Black Anodized Jazzy PG?

I just got an ARI Jazzy in Olympic White. I'm currently modding it with Duncan QP's with white covers, vintage gotoh tuners, and a mustang bridge.

To the point of my thread... I love the new Sonic Youth Lee and Thurston Jazzmasters and would get one but, I like the color and pickups of Thurstons Sig and the bridge and neck of Lees Sig. I love Sonic Youth and Dinosaur Jr and love the anodized PG Jazzy sound, but I don't like the way gold anodized PG that is everywhere looks. Not a fan of gold hardware or pickgaurds.

I was wondering does anyone know where they are selling the Black Anodized PG Jazzy PGs that are used for the Sonic Youth Signiture Jazzmasters? Or even if they are selling the PGs by themselves. If they are not selling them now will they? Or where else could I get one.

Yes, you can get them from WD Music under the jazzmaster PG section.

BTW, on the thurston moore model prototype he just has a one ply plastic matte black pickguard, from a distance you can hardly tell the differnce.

Anodized PG's make the jazzmaster sound different as well so be prepared for your sound to change slightly. I like the sound of them with or without, it really doesn't bother me one way or another.

Ah thank you so much for your help! I can finally finish my Modded Jazzy! Whao! But the Thurston Moore Sig PG is black anodized and listed that way on the Fender Specs and the websites you can buy it from...

I did say thurston moore PROTOTYPE jazzmaster had a black plastic PG. NOT the production model.

It was an allparts jaguar body BTW.
