Suburst ~vs~ Black....

....for a jagmaster with a maple fretboard neck and black pickguard+ black pup covers-HB sized p90's.

BOTH very sexy indeed, but i cant quite make my mind up.

all black with maple neck is absolutely to die for. But the 'honey gloss' of the neck goes so well with the sunburst part on a black guitar (reminds me of thse late 70's strats-awful guitars but they looked good!)

I'm chronically indecisive.......and almost certain to wish i'd purchased the other, no matter which way it goes.

Personally I'd go for sunburst.

BTW, tortoiseshell pickguards goes great with black 😉

well if i got the sunburst one i could put the pups into my parts strat - affinity sunburst body, quite shabby looking - i have an HH red tortoise shell pickguard lying around, cost me

I'd say go sunburst with a black pg, black pickups, and black knobs/switches (freaking epic color combo... especially with chrome hardware and a maple neck).

Too much black. I say go for the sunburst.

Or buy one of each, and swap the loaded pickguards over and sell the one you like least 😁
