I just love that it's a kit pedal. I'm gonna order the BYOC Phaser kit on a few weeks, and if I'm happy with that build, I'm so gonna get one of these round christmas.

didn't listen to it (i'm in school) but i like pedals that have too much gain, because it allows (and forces) you to find its sweet spot, rather than confine you to one sound. controls should have more range than most people will need because it makes pedals more versatile. that's why i love the Duncan Twin Tube Blue, because its got more treble and gain than you will ever need, and can push the tubes to the point where they sound ratty and rather terrible... rather than play it safe so it will never make a bad sound.

I just realised- I read it wrong, the gain isn't on 3 on the clip, it's at 3 o'clock.

I'm not a pedal guy (I'm a bit of a bluesman), but that sounds awesome.

I reckon it could give some great rumble if it was asked to.
