Jaguar Baritone pickups?

I've just bought a jaguar baritone & though i'm loving the freedom of the heavy guage strings & the dropped C tunings i'm having doubts on the dragsters humbuckers. I already own a juguar & jazzmaster usa re-issues & love their bright sound. What better pickups should I use on the baritone to get a brighter sound that i can use with the same settings i have for the jaguar & the jazzmaster?

i have only ever heard the dragster humbuckers with a jag hh, and i thought they were pretty muddy sounding. so perhaps in the downtunings of a baritone guitar they just get nasty and even muddier.

perhaps the p-90 sized buckers would work well with that.

they suck. i have one by the way. i replaced the neck with a humbucker from hell which is turning out great, but any good humbucker should do the trick.

But would it be brighter & less muddy if I replace them with other humbuckers or should I go for single coil straight away?

i would go single coils, but thats just me. why not go for a single in the neck humbucker in the bridge? best of both worlds.

The proper non humbucking Jaguar Baritones just use regular Jaguar guitar pickups.

Buy a set of AVRI Jaguar pups and a new pickguard for 'em.
