I've had a PRS too, they are nice players like Gibson but again... overpriced. There's a 'type' of person that uses PRS as well, i hate to say this but most guitar brands attract a 'type'.
Fender easily has the broadest personality of players, and they are working guitars. You can abuse them and they just get better, they are practical, repairable and look cool as f*ck.
I dunno, the guitar is a tool of a craft and it seems to have grown into a monster that is worshipped. We are all guilty, otherwise we would'nt be posting here, but is there really any need for expensive flame top veneers, exotic tonewoods and stuff? You write songs with the damn thing and play melodies FFS!
