BanditGuitarist1 So I'm wondering if I should maybe respray my Les Paul TV Yellow. I mean its yellow right now but its a very bright yellow and I think TV Yellow would be a little more "vintage correct" but also a nicer finish but i'm not totally sure i'd look similar but idk just an idea im playing around with what do you guys think? My current Les Paul-A TV Yellow Les Paul DCDiscuss
SeriousCat I would just keep it the way it is.I never saw a yellow LP before....... 😲It's something different. Cuz most LP's people have/play are cherry/honeyburst, goldtop, black, wine red, etc.
funtoosh don't!i always wondered why they use that mellowy-shallowy TV yellow instead of a great bright yellow -- the one you have! one of the best guitar colors ever. they need to make SGs in that color. it will surely look great when it ages. very beautiful git. (which knobs do you use now?)so ... D O N ' T !PS: like this v v
BanditGuitarist1 yea i figured after much debate to say screw the vintage looks cause this bitch screams rock and roll!
feedbackismyfriend DUDE!!! I saw a Dimebag guitar at GC today that was like exactly the same yellow as your Les Paul, it was ugly as crap... I also saw an Ibanez superstrat looking thing (it was a standard model I just don't really know Ibanez models) that was an even brighter yellow than yours (I swear this thing was painted like "Don't Touch This Guitar Because It's So Radioactive That It'll Melt Your Fingers Off" yellow) that was wicked ugly, especially when contrasted to it's black pickguard. Your guitar pulls off the bright yellow thing quite nicely.(PS I think the Ibanez guitar prolly would've glowed in the dark if somebody turned off the lights)
