Johno Well, i was going to buy a compression pedal but my bass player has an old Vestax compressor laying idle, cheers! So this leaves me with some pedal
eupat recently i bought the Double Muff, it's really treebly...i tried it with a Berhinger Eq, but it's not what i wantnever tried the Little Big Muff...i prefer the Big Muff pi
robertoriginal i used to have the black, russian big muff, had it for about.....4-7 months and it got swiped. i was really really impressed with it, but it wasn't too bad i guess
paul_ if it's between those two get the little muff. the double muff is not what you're thinking it is. it's based on an obscure and semi-gimmicky effect from EHX's cocaine-fueled heyday.the little big muff is sovtek green/black muff territory with a slightly refined quality that brings it a little closer to the NYC reissue. it doesn't sound exactly like either of those, but a lot of people have considered it "in between" those 2 pedals' sounds.
mumblyjoe I say the Little Big Muff, it has a classic muff sound that is between the harsher Russian and creamy NYC, plus it comes in a case the size of the Small Clone.
Tex-Czech Johno said: Opps wrong forum 😡right forum!get the muff pi! sustain and all that go with the original.
greenlee my vote is for the little big muff which is my main fuzz on my board.like the other guys said its somewhere in between a russian and the big muff pi.it doesnt suck your tone when its off,its in a compact case, and its 70 bucks.im pretty happy with mine though the sustained notes kinda feed back into harsh tones,if that makes sense to anybody.i also have the black russian pedal and really like the sound but the damn thing kills your tone if you have it in a chain.
