Mustang Natural Sound?

A short scale guitar usually produce a bassier, muddier sound than a full scale guitar,

But, do you consider the Mustangs overall sound to be Dark or Bright?

The Mustang sound is very bright in fact even without the bridge pickup on and just the neck pickup on which has more mid and bass it is still very bright sounding guitar. In my opinion it suits the guitar well, I love the natural sound of a Mustang

I could probabley post sound clips of it if their is a site that allows you to do so if u need an idea of it.

No, Mustangs aren't really all too bright. Not as bright as a Tele or Strat atleast. They sound plingy and thin with dark over tones. Atleast all the ones I've played.

I dont think that a tele is that bright just twangy bland imo, but the strat is brighter than a mustang but strats have alot more of a variety of degree of brightness and whatnot but mustangs over all are just bright sounding guitars.
