I bought mine and a sparkly blue one which i also sold about 4 years ago after seeing the band people in planes. theyre amazing! fom wales, but now big in america which is weird.

his tone irritated me, and rather than him tackling the problem, and possibly including one, he was just rude about it.

i also likek my guitars to be stock when i buy them, unless the guitar is huge win. i like things lke the backplate and tremolo to be there,

I must say that IMO your being a little bit oversensitive with this. If I were you I'd buy that guitar in a heartbeat and just buy a freaking backplate.

by a little bit oversensitive, I meant a little bit ridiculous the word just wasn't coming to me. Anyways that's just my opinion. I personally wouldn't let the dude's cavalier attitude about the fact that it's missing a piece of plastic that is only there to help with aesthetics and can only be seen when viewed from the back bother me, I'd take the deal cuz a super sonic isn't a guitar you see everyday.

if i bought a guitar like that though, it would be more of an investment than anything. and i like things like that backplate being there. Makes me wonder what hes being doing with it to cause it to not be there/

i take mine of my guitars. they look Trucking Shiiit imho. if your buying a guitar for money, your buying it for the wrong reason.

i know a guy who has a 60's jag just as an investment. but he does play (really really well) he also has about 10 super nice guitars. but the jag just sits in it's case, never even set up and still has the price tag from when he got it 10 years ago.

Yeah but he actually plays his guitars unlike those super ritch douche bags that have nice guitars and don't play them and the just sit there on a stand when you're playing a ####ty half broken guitar and like god damnit!!!!! why can't i have nice things?

I read a story once where some rich guy bought a super nice super expensive acoustic just to hang over his fireplace. Anyway, the heat from the fireplace ended up warping the wood and the guitar fell down, thus breaking both the guitar and the even more expensive fireplace... 😆

Serves him right imo.

I don't think that the absence of a back plate or a trem bar would put me off buying a guitar of this calibre but i understand where you're coming from.

But then again i would see getting another one of these as an incredible win!
