Help me out...

Ok, planning on buying a new guitar sometime soon.

I've narrowed it down between a Fender 60's Classic Strat and a Reverend Warhawk HB. Suggestions?

It depends what you prefer sound wise and feel wise to be honest, the strat is single coiled so it'll have that classic bright stratish sound, the Warhawk has humbuckers so it'll be much fatter sounding, what kind of stuff do you want to play?

Image wise I think they both look cool.

is that real body-thru or did they just route it that way to look like a firebird? either way i think the bolt-on neck will prevent it from becoming TOO thick sounding. but the 60's classic strat is a great guitar. are they similar in price?

Looking at the point where the neck meets the body I'd say it's a pretty safe guess that it's a bolt on.

He knows. I think he's asking if its a solid central block with two wings, or if its just surface routed to look that way.

The Reverend Warhawk looks nice but you would probably get more versatality from the Strat. Again, what music do wanna play?

My band used to just cover Nirvana songs, and then for a while Alice in Chains, but now we write our own music, so those are my main sources of influence. I'm leaning more twards the Revered, because I already have 2 Fenders with single coils.

The Reverends are amazing guitars, but that has to be the ugliest one.
