Alex So I was thinking of doing one of the DIY effect pedal kits while during my vacation time this holiday. I see sites like buildyourownclone.com and generalguitargadgets.com have some nice looking kits. Anyone have experience with these sites ? Or recommend any other fx kit sites?

Alex Wow thats a lot of links! Thanks. Anyone have experience with any of the fx kit companies? just curious how their service is and quality.
Richie My ex is getting me an OLC Orange Peel kit for christmas, so I'll probably post something about it when it's built, how hard it was, how good the pedal is etc...
JaguarOW yeah the byoc kits that ive got (octave fuzz and phaser) are really good, just make sure youre careful because i put two resistors in the wrong places and it took ages for me to fix 😡theyre easy to build if you take your time though and theyre good fun 😀
Richie Stevie K said: Your ex?Yeah. Y'know, as in ex-girlfriend?We're still very good friends. Little unusual I know, but it works for us.PEDALS!You'll see no threadjacking here, no sir!

Thanks for the info! I will have to try one out.
Fran Dont BYOC do a Zvex clone? Tempting!I think the hardest part of FX building is drilling out the pot shaft holes on the steel case.
Alex It appears the BYOC kits are predrilled. That would certainly make things easier if true. The E.S.V. Fuzz kit looks interesting.
mayajag http://www.techniguitare.com is a french diy site.Lots of info and some kits and parts (PCBs).A very good site if you can read french.See ya ^^
