I use the 333XL and use 3 different cabs
- The original Bugera cab with Bugera Speakers (200 Watts)
- A late 80's Peavey VTM 412M Cabinet with Celestion GK-85S speakers
- A 60 Watt Line6 Cab with an Eminence that I use for jamming at home/small rehearsal spaces
The original Bugera Cab sounds very Hi-Fi with bright crisp highs, and very transparent lows. Almost like a P.A. Cabinet.
The Peavey is very classic rock Marshall-like sounding, which I really like, with fat but tight low end, and a less as pronounced high end. Really chunky sound.
The Line6 almost gives off a vintage Fender Flare when clean, but sounds very gritty and kind of like a vintage combo when distorted, however, I never run this one as loud as the others due to the wattage (it's HALF of the Bugera's wattage of 120 Watts).
You could nab the head, take it into a shop, and try out different cabs, that's what I did when I tried out the other two. I got the Peavey super cheap because it had no logos on it to say what it was. One of my proudest finds.
