Tremolo options

I feel like a bit of a traitor asking this here but...oh well. I got an epiphone dot studio years ago and played it a little bit before pulling it apart for parts. When that project went nowhere I put the guitar back together (which was a monumental pain) anyway my style of playing has changed since i last played this thing and I wanted to put some sort of tremolo system on it. I already looked at bigsby and i dont have that much money. any ideas?

Well you could piss of those elitist people with an $80 floyd rose from guitar fetish. You don't need to fit the nut clamps unless you plan to go all eddie van halen on it.

I was thinking more something old vintageish, like the old lyre or even the sideways vibrola, something less modern

you'd just have to find 'em cheaper than at musik keller.

there is the new les trem, of course, which can be installed instead of a stop tailpiece, i.e. without modifying the body, but that would probably be way too expensive (~
