Checkout Feeders Grant Nicholas custom guitar. 😲 A cross between a Firebird and a Jazzmaster, it's called a Jazzbird in the gear section on their website. He was using it on TOTP for 'Lost and Found'. He may have been using it for ages, but this is the first time i've seen it. It's also on the cover of their new Singles collection album. I think it has a Jazzmaster neck but i'm not sure. Thats definately a Jazzmaster trem though. Pretty cool don't you think? 😎

Yeah, you're right. He used it on the 'Comeback around' video which was a good few years back. Yeah, i'm no huge Feeder fan either, (i like a couple of their songs) just thought the guitar looked pretty cool.

Don't mind the band either. Anyone else remember a few of their songs accompanying Gran Turismo 3?

Also, on a related note, does anyone know about the other guitarist's (lefty) jazzmaster? I think it's fiesta red and it has blocks and binding.

They where actually on Gran Turismo 1, 2 and 3 but they didn't go mainstreem untill between 2 and three so most people remember them being on GT3, they where one of the first rock bands I really got into after hearing them on the original Gran Turismo soundtrack. Admitedly once I realised all the songs on their Polythene album use the same like 4 chords and heared the atrocity that was Echo Park I kinda got bored of them, still, it sucks what happened to their drummer.

Oh, by the way, yes they do have another guitarist who plays with them live who is left handed but no he's not officially part of the band which is why he's not in their videos and stuff.

As for that guitar, I like it, it's pretty cool, doubt I'd buy it myself but I certainly wouldn't turn down a free one!

while i've never actually heard feeder (not to my knowledge anyway,) everytime i hear their name i think of a picture i saw in a guitar magazine in the late 90's of him with that guitar. it was the first time i'd seen one with blocks and binding, i thought it looked awesome.

No way, I totally hated echo park, it had litterally about 3 songs I liked on it including Buck Rogers. I think the fact that I was anticipating it's release may have made me expect too much from it but still, compared to the previous albums it's crap. I hated Yesterday Went Too Soon when that first came out but it totally grew on me, could be my favourite now although I virtually NEVER listen to them anymore, but Echo Park just makes me cringe. Still, it made them mainstreem so some people must like it.

If he's their live guitarist that would explain why i've never seen/heard of him before! 😛 I find that a bit annoying when bands use another guitarist and shunt them out the limelight. But i suppose, when you're playing live, you can't do everything you managed in a studio enviroment. 🙄
