To route the body, you can go heavy on those measurements... nothing will show, the pickguard covers it all. I wouldn't cut the pickguard unless you have the pickup covers on hand though, that's where it matters.
Stock Jazzmaster bodies pickup cavities are cut larger then the pickup cover themselves. The bridge pickup left side is cut precise, the right side is cut larger. The neck pickup left side is cut larger, the right side is cut larger.
