With humbuckers though there's always the risk that it's going to be too muddy sounding, especially on something like this. As for the fuzz... Whenever I've used my 6 string bass (just a detuned Strat) with any kind of distorion it sounds terrible, although that's probably more to do with the fact that the strings are stupidly loose, the intonation is out and it goes out of tune if you look at it. 😆
If there's a geetar shop near you that stocks anything like this, take a fuzz with you and ask to try it out, it's the only way of knowing, unless there's a demo on Youtube or something.
