Although I don't think it will work with the all at the same time thing with Yoof like tunings, unless how it does it is recognise the note you're closest too and tells you if how sharp or flat you are, but judging from the demo this isn't the case, and tuning are instead programmed into it. ☹

but i would rather something like a korg pitchblack unless that one is the same price, i would have to buy one due to the huge win.

Well, looking at the display on it I'm going to say that it isn't some boutique company or someone we've never heard of. This is one of the corporations. Because this is obviously pretty advanced, would require a fair bit of funding I think. I don't think it's a Peterson tuner 'cause they have a very distinctive look to the display that they would probably look to be keeping.

I reckon it could easily be Korg, and would put my money on them before anyone else. The red and green against black display thing just says "Korg" to me. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

maybe when its all spiced up with paint etc. it will look more mass produced, but atm it looks so boutique.

i dont think korg would send one to pgs.

Good point. I got the Peterson idea from the shape.

If it is Korg, it will be strange having brought out the Pitchblack close to it. Hopefully we'll only have to wait till NAMM next week.

I would always have assumed that this will be a fair bit pricier than the Pitchblack. Most companies do, after all, like to have a budget option available to potential customers.

nice tuner, i need a new tuner someone stole mine and now Im wondering what the hell is up with the high prices of tuners! I have bought one since like 04' when I got my Korg that was stolen but now it seems there like $100+

That looks pretty sick... it'd prolly be really useful live as you could tune your guitar without having to go through all the strings to see which is the one that's out of tune (assuming of course that only one string is out). Also you could use it (or almost any other pedal tuner) as a killswitch for TeH MOOReeLLlLoZzZZ. 😛

Although that'd be downright stupid...

Can you imagine how awesome it'd be if somebody was able to pull that off with a tuner? and can you imagine how stupid they'd look doing it live? Anyways, all I was saying is that it prolly is humanly possible.
