a decent economy solid state amp. i like it

the fm65dsp does not have an output line but i was thinking bout plugging it in the headphone jack, help!!

either way, don't use the headphone jack. you might try soldering a jack to the wire going to the speaker, still, the question remains: does a 4x12 cab make sense with a small soild state practice amp ...

Being 17 doesn't mean you're not a good musician, but I'd say you do need to grow up a bit in terms of actual maturity. Why would you assume he's having a dig at your playing 'cause of your age? He doesn't know you and he's never heard you play. And Gilmourish is younger than you are.

You don't need a cab because you don't need one, it's that simple. You're using a small practise amp that doesn't have a cab output, and plugging the cab into the headphone out is going to sound wank, so if you're going to gig you might as well just mic up the amp you have and not bother with a cab until you can afford a better amp in the future.

I am actually younger than you, so don't even think about saying that.

Whether your jimi page or alex mcpedo, it doesnt matter who good you are, an extension cab to a fairly average low priced solid state amp will not help anything.

If you are a 17 year old who is poor, i recommend saving the money, for an object which is not necessary and will not improve your sound, tone or playing ability.

I also couldn't give a monkeys about how good you are, especially when your saying your so good and want to ad a cab to a rather awful practice amp.

Nobody cares about your age.

You have a combo which already has a speaker which you want to connect up to a massive 4x12. Get a decent tube head and a 2x12. Much more sensible rig. And don't swear at fellow forumites. Not cool.
