😆 feels like xmas all over again!
I bought the Duo/Tele/Toronado from a local band. I didn't have any intention on keeping em, he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. He's also selling his Jazzmaster now, & wants me to build him a Jazzmaster with P90's in it some time. I really wanted more guitar templates but didn't wanna be stuck with 3 more guitars. Just glad I could dump em quick, get templates and other guys get cool guitars. The tele went to canada. The Duo & Toronado went to the UK.
I put those screws in there so I could transfer the holes to a template without having to measure them. I guess I just forgot to pull em out.
Pics of me cutting screws

I pressed a template onto the screw tips. Then drilled the indentation out. Now I got a template with all the routes and bridge screw placement.

Duo upper left corner, Jazzmaster upper right corner, Toronado center, Jagstang lower left & Tele lower right.

Those are the body templates above. I also made detailed neck pocket & interior routes templates... look sorta like this (this is a tele though). I also copied the headstock. That's why I had to remove all the hardware from the neck to get a good tracing.

Be careful when you order that pickguard. I noticed that the pickguard on there is WD replacement. It doesn't fit around the bass side of the bridge to great. Just make sure you give em detailed info on the guitar so you get a better fitting pickguard.
So was it at good buy at $100? I tend to get over excited about guitars regardless of the condition... sorta carriage before the horse deal. I was surprised it was Fender not a Squire.
